Nope.
It is not recommended to bathe a puppy at 3 weeks old as their immune system is still developing and they are not able to regulate their body temperature well. Puppies at this age should still be kept clean by wiping them down with a damp cloth if necessary.
i wouldn't give it a bath until at least a year and a half and make sure its warm not hot or not cold. another writer--I disagree, I don't think you have to wait until it is a year and a half. You can bathe them when they are a few weeks old. On the other hand, dogs don't need a bath every day like people. You don't need to bathe your puppy unless he gets dirty. I do agree that the water should be warm, not hot or cold, and also when you dry him a human hair drier on the hot setting is too hot for your dog. I like to bathe mine in hot weather, towel dry them and then let them dry themselves in the sun.
When you bring home a puppy, give her an occasional bath even if she doesn't need it, just so she'll get used to it. If she's straight from the shelter, she'll most likely be stressed at all the changes, so be gentle and quick, use a lot of treats, talk to her gently but firmly, and make it as nice a bonding time as you can.
it will bath itself June 24,2008-from other user, Give it Chinchilla Sand to bathe itself in, or let it lick itself, or if something bad for it got on it's fur, wash it in lukewarm water in about...1 inch or 1 centimeter or about as high as it can WADE it, about up to it's paws. Give it VERY MILD baby shampoo and lather only it's back, not it's face. then wash it gently.
Puppies can be introduced to swimming as early as 8 weeks old. It's important to ensure that the water temperature is comfortable, introduce them gradually to the water, and provide plenty of encouragement and positive reinforcement during the process. Always supervise your puppy closely while they are learning to swim.
No.
NO. you should not bthe a puppy his first day home
Bathe your puppy every week...
You can bathe him/her once a week, and try a flea collar.
you shouldn't do that because that puppy will have trouble keeping its body temperature up and she could get sick. its better to buy puppy wipies
If you do it very carefully and with a wet cloth.
it really depends on the place and condition of the puppies.
rub a small amount of shaving cream all over puppy and than towel off.. now water needed.
Bathe the puppy in oatmeal shampoo or a mild shampoo, you can use Benadryl but it is best to ask a veterinarian how much to use, because a human dosage can kill a puppy. So please call a vet.

You might want to wait until your puppy is at least 6 weeks old. But, if you do want to bathe ur puppy make sure you use a shampoo for dogs. Also use a sponge since its very small. Don't put alot of shampoo. Then towel dry the puppy very well (because puppies get cold very easily) then reward the them with a treat. (:
yes it is to young to bathe. you should ask your vet on info on pet care
