It wouldn't be smart because if the have the same father( brother and sister) they would be more likely to have mutations or serious health problems. Like when you breed brother and sister cats they have double paws. I would ask a vet or animal specialest. That would be your best bet.

Can you breed dogs with same father but different mother?

Yes. If they are the same breed, it's called "Close In-Breeding." The dogs can be registered. CAN YOU BREED 2 DOGS FORM THE SAME MOTHER BUT DIFFERENT FATHER There are some pros and cons to inbreeding. Breeders sometimes use inbreeding to fix traits. However, inbreeding can also cause the wide spread of unfavorable or harmful genes due to the limited pool of genes caused by continuous inbreeding.

Can you breed dogs from same parents but different litters?

No, because although they are not from the same litter, they are still the same genetically... if you were to breed 2 dogs from the same parents there would be a high risk of genetic defects and/or behavioural problems in the puppies producedThey are still full blooded brother and sister. Think about it. If you have a sister or brother, it is from a different breeding with the same Mom & Dad and you are still full brothers and sisters.I don't think you would want to do that close of breeding, called inbreeding and is not for the best in the breed.2 dogs that have the same biological parents should not be bred together. Some breeders call this "line-breeding" to get the same looks as the parents but at the cost of the puppies health. It is incest and can be physically and mentally damaging to the future puppies. The smaller the gene pool is the more likely undesirable recessive traits are bound to come together. If 2 dogs both carry the recessive trait for blindness or albinism and you breed them 1 in 4 puppies are likely to be blind or be albino. Accidents happen but it is urged that you not interbreed.

Pit bulls in heat and breeding?

When to breed (if your dog is good enough)--2yrs How often--once a year. How long? from 2-8yrs (then retire) Do not breed un-qualified dogs or unhealthy dogs. Do not breed oversized or aggressive dogs. They come into heat every 6months, usually after 7months. Do not breed them till their third heat. Make sure they're vet-checked, vaccinated, CGC/weight pull titled, under 65lbs, UKC reg & PennHip/CERF before you breed.
