They can eat quite a lot of 'human' food but you should only feed a little at a time so it doesn't go mouldy and if fed a lot they can get diarrhea. Use it as a treat.
They can eat most fruits and vegetables but don't feed them, raw potato, raw rhubarb or onion as they will get poorly tummys.
You can also feed them small amounts of cooked chicken, boiled potatoes and even plain toast or cheese but again, feed sparingly and watch out for high levels of salt and sugar.
Mine particulary like a little bit of cheese and cucumber.

my hamster has just given birth, and if you soak a slice of Italian Bread in lowfat milk,
THE HASTERS WILL GO CRAZY FOR IT!! it also helps the mother produce milk and makes
the babies grow faster, get stronger and MORE well built bodies.
They should eat these foods below here* chopped up Apple * Soft banana (only give her a little bit of this at a time. She shouldn't have this in her cage)* cabbage (this is great for a whole family treat) * skinned carrot ( this is for PREGNANT HAMSTERS)* celery (pregnant hamsters (or even just to give your little hamster a treat)) * rice (a family treat for the family)For recipes for your lil' hamster, go to www.HamsterTracker.com
Safe foods for horses include hay, grass, fruits, and vegetables like carrots and apples. Bad foods to avoid include chocolate, onions, garlic, and high-sugar treats like candy or soda. Always consult with a veterinarian or equine nutritionist for specific dietary guidance for your horse.
Hamsters can eat stuff like bananas, apples, sunflower seeds, and don't forget hamster food and more. You also should feed your hamster vitamins. You can find vitamins for hamsters at most pet stores. But DO NOT feed your hamster too much apple or banana. If you feed it too much it might get a tummy ache. Also DO NOT feed it citrus fruits like oranges. I am NOT going to list all the things hamsters shouldn't eat. But be aware. There are more foods hamsters shouldn't eat. Hope this is good enough!
To start off, I will probably say no unless the food is for all small animals and the bag/box will say that. It will give you a list of animals that can eat the food. Food like Nutriphrase, which i feed my hamster, can be fed to other small animals. -Hope this helps
