It depends
If you have 1 rabbit and then later get another, they rabbits (if they don't know each other ) are likely to attack each other because the first rabbit would probably be Territorial .
Thankfully they have places (i think pets at home does it) were they let the rabbits met and get used to each other, then make sure that they are safe before giving you the rabbit , if you do that I'm sure u can have 3 ...
But if u get 3 rabbits at the same time at the same place, I'm sure (if they say so) you'll be fine.
Also make sure all your rabbits are spade !
You can not put three rabbits together even if they are spayed/neutered!! Rabbits are territorial and will fight if they feel they do not have enough space. Also if you try it you will probably find your 'sweet, cuddly' bunnies with slit ears, chunks of fur missing and their bellies layed open. It is not a pretty sight, please get your pets their own cages, don't risk your sweet pets.
A female adult rabbit is called a doe or a jill. No special name for one that has had babies (or bunny, kit, kitten, leveret, nestling)
When a rabbit bangs its teeth together, it is usually a sign of agitation, fear, or pain. This behavior, known as "tooth purring," can indicate that the rabbit is stressed or in discomfort. It is essential to identify the underlying cause and address the issue to ensure the well-being of the rabbit.
It is not recommended to breed a rabbit while she is nursing her babies as this can put the mother and babies at risk. The mother rabbit's attention and energy should be focused on caring for her current litter before considering breeding her again. It is best to wait until the current litter is weaned before breeding the mother rabbit.
It depends on how many there are in the litter. Like if there are three she will probably keep it, but if there are six she might abandon it. Remember every mother is different. My Rabbit killed hers, she had 3 in her litter, and she dragged him out side of the nest! Still if your mother rabbit is feeding the rabbit, then it is not a runt!
I am almost sure that my female rabbit changed to a male. There are 3 rabbits in that hutch, the mother and two of her daughters. I have noticed the mother mount one of her daughters multiple times. Then, yesterday, i went out to check on the rabbits and found a nest of 3 babies and the daughter that was mounted was giving them milk.
yes you can even breed daughter to father but not mother to son
Yes it can. The "daddy" rabbit and the daughter rabbit have no recognition that they shouldn't do that. It is on instinct. Hope that helped :D
yes why not..every mother do it.
No. My rabbit tryed reproducing with his own daughter!
No
vanilla the rabbit is cream's mother on sonic x
well see how you go for two days and if they are fine then you keep them in together and if they are fighting then no you can't put them in together
get a boy and a girl rabbit put it together in a hutch for a few months make a little house for mother rabbit .put some hay to keep warmth after a few days you would see the babies. the mother will let her babies crawl to her then they would find a thing on their mothers tummy every day they would grow until their not a baby
The correct term for a baby rabbit is a kit and the mother is a doe. Males are bucks.
