Yes! You should never use chemicals to clean your tank, especially while there are fish in it.
It is not recommended to use a tank that previously housed a snake for fish. Snakes may carry diseases that can be harmful to fish, even after thorough cleaning. It's better to err on the side of caution and use a new tank for fish.

Convict cichlids can be semi-aggressive and territorial, especially when breeding. They may harass or even kill other fish in the tank, particularly if the tank is too small or if there are not enough hiding spots. It's best to keep them with fish of similar size and aggression levels.
The water level in a fish tank can lower due to evaporation, water splashing out during feeding or cleaning, or a leak in the tank or equipment. It's important to regularly monitor the water level to ensure a healthy environment for the fish.

It may be possible. Just be sure to clean out any sand or dirt left over. When cleaning it, only use hot water. NOT DAWN SOAP! Or any soap for that matter. The enzymes in the soap could kill the fish or make them very sick. Good luck!

Using a pressure washer with a soap tank for cleaning tasks has benefits such as more effective removal of dirt and grime, faster cleaning times, and the ability to tackle tough stains. The soap tank allows for easy application of cleaning solutions, resulting in a more thorough and efficient cleaning process.
Actually fish should never need to be removed from the tank when you're doing routine maintenance. If they have to be then you're over cleaning and/or your tank is too small! In a healthy established filtered tank you only need to do 20% water changes once a week, the fish stay put. Constantly netting them and moving them about causes extreme stress and can kill them. If your tank is unfiltered then it's not suitable for fish.
