Yes you can!!
The collected canter feels similar to the regular working canter except the movement is more powerful and more contained. You can feel the horse's hindquarters working harder underneath you and the movement is more up-and-down than forward-and-back.
Cantering is the gait in between a trot (one step up from a walk) and a gallop (the fastest). To an untrained eye, it would appear like a slower gallop. a canter is a speed that is in between a trot and a gallop. To get your horse to canter, go down to a sitting trot, trying to sit as much as you can to stay seated. Then you grab mane and kick with the OUTSIDE leg to pick up the right lead. If this doesn't work, maybe you need to get a crop... with a crop, gently tap your horse with the crop, but make sure not to smack. Have fun cantering!
The best way to slow a horse down without losing control or your center of gravity is to start circling the horse by pulling one of the reins to the side. The faster the horse is moving, the larger the circle should be, and when the horse is slowing down, make the circle smaller and smaller until the horse is stopped.
He simply starts moving faster and taking longer strides. The sequence of footfalls is precisely the same, but the longer strides means that the double beat that normally accompanies the canter is changed to two individual beats.
try and go with the flow and sit deep in the saddle also try not to panic otherwise the horse will do the same although when i took my horse to the common he went into a flat down gallop twice! lucky me i did not fall off and managed to stop him but the second time i fell off but my horse thought i enjoyed it after that i was fine to canter it might just be if your riding a new horse you won't be used to his or her stride.
Pretty simple, (personally I think its easier than a trot.) Its best to enter a canter at sitting trot. Put your heels back and sit down in the saddle. Its also best to bridge your reins in canter, but its great fun, really. GemsGems3 x
Well, push your horse to canter from trot by sitting in the trot and kicking with your outside leg (if youre in an arena) then he she should canter come up to your jump and go into two point or jumping position and jump as usual only when you come down dig your heels downward to have a secure landing keep your shoulders back whilst cantering. hope i helped Eaimer xxx
Lightly pull on the reigns to get him to slow down. But this varies from horse to horse depending on the way your horse is trained; just give him the usuall cues to slow down, until he is walking instead of cantering. Actually depending on your horses training depends on how easily he picks up the idea of canter to walk. I own two dressage horses one who knows canter to walk by working him on a ten metre circle, collecting the canter then giving the aid for walk, he is working elementary at home and the other already knew this movement before i had him as he is trained to grand prix level but it all comes from your SEAT NOT REINS!.

It's like a rocking horse. The "cocking" is the motion made when the horse goes up & down. It may also come from the way a parent cocks their leg when the child plays "horsie" while sitting on their knee!
check its back you might be hurting it. you might be asking wrong. if u want to stop him from doing it keep riding through the bucking to teach him that it doesn't bother you so he doesn't do it anymore. a horse only bucks because he thinks that it will get him out of work.
Your horse can't stand your weight, so he sits down while u ride

He rode away at a canter - Noun He cantered down into a village - Verb
Yes, he was executed while sitting down. This was due to the fact that the injuries he had received during the Easter Rising made it impossible for him to stand for his execution, so he was shot while sitting on a chair.
Slow the horse down to a collected canter/lope and learn to sit deep in the saddle. Ride lots of small circles- every time the horse starts to speed up drop a smaller circle. You need to have good HANDS and seat. If you can develop this you be able to ride just about any horse!
Be sure his penis is raging hard. Get him to lie down on his back. Straddle his penis and guide it into your vagina. Slowly slide down on it until you are sitting on his testicles. Get him to massage your breasts and pinch your nipples. While he is doing this, bounce up and down on his penis while fingering your clitoris. You will have a mind blowing orgasm.
