Yes but they have to be the right kind of pills. Some sleeping pills are 'safe' that is you cannot overdose on them.
Take him/her to the vet, wehere they will do it humanely.
I assume you want to administer over the counter sleeping pills to a dog. There is a lot of documenation available for giving dogs diphenhydramine which is the same ingrediant in Benydryl and in most over the counter sleeping pills. So I recommend sticking to Benydryl or an OTC sleeping pill with diphenhydramine and not expiramenting with doxylamanine. Benydryl dosage should be 1 mg for every 10lbs of dog. A 20lb dog should take 2mg of diphenhydramine.
i have had my dog for 4 years and he just now started sleeping on his bed. You cant force a dog to sleep on its bed, of corse you can forcefull push him down, but that will just make him dislike it more. My dog loves to sleep by the fire, so we moved his bed over there. Now, he sleeps on it.
Well if your dog is old the muscles of its bladder may be getting weak so... anyway.. if your dog is still quite young then the best thing to do is take it to a vet. Dogs can and do indeed pee while they are sleeping. There are many vet sites that explain what the issues might be.
The idiom is: Let sleeping dogs lie. It means, don't aggravate a person or situation when it is already calm or calmed down. Example: "I hate her," Julie fumed three days after a girl insulted her at school. "I'll show her!" "The principal already took care of the problem," her mother counseled. "She has been expelled for a week and won't be bothering you again--let sleeping dogs lie." "The welfare office took away $50 in food stamps!" "Yes, but they didn't make you re-pay them when you earned $300 from your job. It might be better to let sleeping dogs lie." NOTE 1: The word dogs refer to dogs, not that you are calling someone a dog. NOTE 2: The word lie, here, means a sleeping dog, and does not mean a person as a liar. One origin of this idiom is that a dog can be cranky when abruptly awoken, and can attack. So it is better to not disturb the dog.

If a dog is not able to sleep at night, they may need medical intervention from a vet. The vet may prescribe sleeping pills for the dog. Some commonly prescribed medications for canine insomniacs include Rimadyl and Fluoxetine.

I was fidgeted in my sleeping with the shout of the dog...

There is no way anyone could answer this question without knowing what KIND of pills the dog ate. If your dog eats pills, call a vet immediately.
no
You should never give a dog a medication that is intended for a human, and sleeping pills for a puppy is an extremely dangerous idea. Depending on the type of sleeping pill and the size of the puppy, the effect could be at least a very sick puppy and at worst a dead puppy. As a pet owner you have a responsibility to protect your puppy from harm, and this would certainly harm him and would be considered animal abuse. If you want your puppy to sleep well, take him for a nice long walk.
Take the baby first, then come back for the dog, but take the baby back to where the pills are, drop the baby off pick up the pills and take them to the dog, after, the baby is the only one that's left to take :L
Talk to your veterinarian.
Bury him?
Like a dog pretty much: they lie down and sleep. Usually out in the open, it doesn't have to be in a den or anything to be a good sleeping spot.
