I prefer to use a special shampoo for small animals think it is by Johnson and Johnson the one i use it is very mild and safe to use on guinea pigs. never use human, dog or cat shampoos on guinea pigs.
Yes. Baby shampoo is mild and gentle, so it will not harm the guinea pig's fur or
skin when it's bathed with the shampoo.
There are many different opinions on this. Some books say that they clean themselves fine but if you find that they are getting dirty then you should give them a bath. I also read a book that say that you should give a guinea pig a bath about once every three weeks and it helps to prevent skin diseases. That's what I do but it said that you have to use either special guinea pig shampoo or a mild scalp shampoo (mild baby shampoo is what I use).
No, this can make a guinea pig sick. The best thing to use to bathe a piggy is cat shampoo. It is mild and will not make your pet sick.
You can use any type of cat shampoo. I have a caramel colored guinea pig named caramel and we used baby shampoo instead. It has to be a very mild type of shampoo, because it may be too harsh for their fur. I also suggest that you wash them once a month. Be careful when washing them, because they will squirm.
I suppose there is no limit, provided the guinea pig is showered and dried in a manner that keeps it from catching a cold. However, guinea pigs do not normally shower. This is unnatural to them, and an unnecessary source of stress. While it might be possible to shower a guinea pig many times a year, you probable should never do so.
Baby shampoo would be very gentle, or any pet shampoo. Answer no, any pet shampoo will not work. if you use cat sampoo on a rabbit it could make the rabbit blind. they have a "Bunny Bath" shampoo that is just right for them, makes them smell really good too.
They do have oatmeal dog shampoo in a pet store, oatmeal is very mild.
Johnson's Baby Shampoo is very mild.
I wouldn't recommend it 1 if you must bath your dog - use a mild shampoo such as those made for babies !
Pet shampoo. Mild dish soap.
Yes you can. Use a mild soap like cat shampoo. Just make sure the bird does not get chilled after the bath. Some people will use a hair dryer on low to help dry the feathers.
I wouldn't reccommend using any human shampoo on a Guinea as you never know what they may be sensitive to and while they may seem mild to us they could cause irritation to your pet.

Guinea Pigs should be bathed in low, warm water, with baby shampoo. Hold your Pig while bathing, or put in a little basket so then you can wash him/her easier. Keep the water/soap out of his/her eyes, and when your done dry her/him.Conditioner is not really needed, your Guinea shouldn't get knots in its fur or anything. Shampoo should work fine. Special Guinea Pig made soap, or shampoo is okay, but make sure not to get any in it's eyes. Johnson's shampoo I do not recommend, because some of the contents could hurt your Guinea. Get the 'Tear Free' kind, and that should be great.
pantene-not mild vatika-little mild
