In the 1900s people used horses for farming, trasportation, (even if they had cars) food, leather, and riding.
They generally result when people cross them on purpose. People may have first crossed zebras and horses in an effort to develop disease-resistant transportation animals for use in Africa.
Horses continued to be used in daily life for farm people in the US into the 40s and are, of course still used today by the Amish for daily transportation. The Russians were still using horses during WWII. Many countries still use horses for transportation.

Well, there is two main types of animals that are used for transportation. These are horses and oxen.

It was the developing period of the aircraft. It was then used for transportation but only rich people were able to afford it. It was also used in war also. Otherwise there were no purposes of aircraft in the 1920s.
Rich people could ride in carriages or on horses. Poor people would have to walk.
