Pembrokes have no tails or really short tails, stubby legs, are longer than Cardigans, have a wider face, and are generally more outgoing. The Pembroke is usually the dog one pictures when they think of a Corgi.

Cardigans have long and fluffy tails, longer legs than the Pembroke, are a bit bigger, more 'regal' looking, have a more narrow or wedge-shaped face, and are generally more reserved.

How much should a pembroke whelsh corgie weigh?

Actually, a purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi female should weigh no more than 28lbs and a male should not exceed 30 lbs. As for Cardigan Welsh Corgis, females average about 25 lbs and males average 38 lbs. These are AKC standards, but every Corgi is different. My Pembroke female, for example, is only 22 lbs. --------------------------- I would say about 15 - 20 pounds. That's how much my half corgi half yorki weighs and yorkies are smaller than corgis so it might be a little bit more.
