Absolutely not. Unlike the barbaric and primitive minded Chinese, Japanese people are a spiritual people, and care not only for life but the earth as well. The Japanese would be more akin to our Native American people, here in Canada. Don't get me wrong. There are of course, exceptions, such as starvation, in extreme cases. However, you wont find a dog meat eating festival anywhere in Japan, unlike in Yemen. Japanese are ahead of most all other civilizations inhabiting the earth.
