they can sleep in dark or light if your hampster is new to your home then its best for dark areas but if its used to you then its up to you if it sleeps in light or dark.
Hamsters are naturally nocturnal, so they sleep in the day, which is better for them because they need warmth when they sleep, so their heart doesn't unexpectedly stop.

There is lots like, Syrian, Chinese dwarf hamster, Campbells dwarf hamster, Robo dwarf hamster, Russian hamster. My favorite, is the blueberry campbells dwarf hamster and the Syrian hamster. They are the sweetest and easy to hold. NOT THE ROBO"S!!!
There is no clear cut way to tell what age a hamster is, you can only generalize by the size your hamster is. A hamster is fully grown at 6 months of age, and any fully grown hamster in a pet store is usually not more then 1 year old, usually 6-8 months.
Syrian golden hamsterCheckered hamster ( I had a checkered golden hamster before, and it was plain mean!)Russian hamsterBeige gloden hamsterTeddy Bear hamsterLonghaired golden hamstersDWARF HAMSTERS:chinese hamsterDzungarian hamsterdwarf and teddy bear hamsters are the most popular and the most fun!
Male Chinese dwarf hamsters can be mixed with others but if they begin to get aggressive with each other, separate them asap! female Chinese dwarf hamsters do not often like each other. it is best not to mix them as they will probebley end up killing each other. DO NOT MIX DIFFERNT BREEDS OF HAMSTERS eg. a syrain hamster with a Russian dwarf hamster. if you have just put the hamsters in one cage, keep an eye on them.
Ones With aids.Bethany Masureik:Pets at Home sell hamsters ranging from dwarfs to teddy bears. It makes sense. If you know your hamster types, that is...
Anything you like, really. :)
they just lay there usually with there eyes closed but sometimes open, its very sad
No Syrian hamsters are very Territorial and they like to live on there own but dwarf hamsters like to live in groups or pairs otherwise they would get too lonely.

not all hamsters have to be kept alone, in fact most hamsters like to be with others from the same type or family. dwarf hamsters, Chinese hamsters, robo dwarf hamsters, and lots more all like to be with family and others. If they are kept alone its either because of its personality, if they are put together with a type they don't connect with or because they see a threat . i hope this helps:)
Even smaller Hamsters.
Robo hamsters are too small for that kind of a cage... they can squeeze through the bars. It would like it, yes, but my sisters mouse (same size as these hamsters) had a cage like that and was trying to get through the bars and suffocated. For my robo hamsters I use a huge fish tank which they like fine
I have no idea I would research it but mine like veggies
You shouldn't keep a dwarf in a cage.
No Roborovski hamsters live longer.(Robo sounds like robot so it figures.)

Robo hamsters live for about 1-2 years. Probably 3. In some stores; like petsmart, they tell you descriptions about hamsters and how to handle them yourself.
