animals with backbones are either birds, fish, mammals, reptiles, or amphibians they are neither mammals or amphibians thery are birds their own class of chordates

well, every bird i have seen has had legs, that is if you mean legs for walking. the only bird that you would problebly see with one leg would problebly be one that got in a axident and got its leg...well you know

Bird are considered to be bipedal. This is because birds walk on 2 legs and not 4 like other animals.
