A Pit bull is any of several breeds of dog in the molosser breed group. And The Boxer was bred from the English bulldog and the now extinct Bullenbeisser and is part of the Molosser group. So, technically the boxer can be considered a pit bull.

Now most people don't understand what a pit bull is, but are most likely always referring to the American pit bull terrier. The American pit bull terrier is the product of interbreeding between terriers and a breed of bulldogs to produce a dog that combined the gameness of the terrier with the strength and athleticism of the bulldog.

They are outdoor dogs and indoor dogs you have to have a lot of space for a boxer if you live in a small house they would't be the best dog

yes they are very good family dogs, they are generally very loyal and protective. I had one from 3-12 and he was always very protective.
