My cat is about 9 years old and I put her out ealy this morning and she has not come to eat, etc. I have not seen her. this is not her normal routine. If she were sick do you think she has gone off to die somewhere. She was not acting sick. I don't know alot of information about cats or do they wander off sometimes for a day or so and then come back.
It can be common for cats to run away, especially if they are outdoor cats or not properly supervised. Some cats may have a strong prey drive or be easily frightened, leading them to wander off. Making sure your cat is microchipped and has proper identification can increase the chances of them being returned home if they do go missing.
Cats often run away when you move house, as they become attached to their old territory more than its owners. Often they find their way back there, but often get lost or killed on the roads. Cats, especially tom cats, are known to go walkabout, and may end up run over. Cats that are ill treated by their owners will wander off to find another owner (which they usually do) or might find another owner for some other reason. Some cat haters deliberately kill cats that wander on to their property.
actually some cats do, it depends on if you have trained them to do it. the cats that don't come either have not beed traind to come on call, or they are just to idapendant. (cats are a verry independent race, that is why they often wander off to be by themselfs.)
Male cats are called toms. Female cats are called queens. This is why you hear the word "tomcat" so much, because they are male cats. Male cats often like to wander around more than the females, so you also hear about someone who is "tomcatting around" - it means someone who likes to wander around and visit lots of people.
Well usually cats die from toothpaste. If the get lucky maybe they wont die.
yes
Goosefeather died by falling off a cliff after having a vision where he believed he was meant to wander alone. His death occurred in the book "Bluestar's Prophecy" in the Warrior Cats series.
Cats typically get lost when they wander away from home, become disoriented, or get scared and run off. They may also accidentally get trapped in a neighbor's garage or shed.

Chances are that it may be, however there is a big possibility that it might not be a stray. For example, cats wander off to find prey, to find a partner or to join another colony of cats (for it is their natural thing to do) so it may not be stray. If there are cats in the woodlands or forests, it is likely for them to be feral. Big cats come from the wild, so there is not much difference when it comes to domestic cats.
