Birds have neither an anus nor a urethra. They have what is called a cloaca. This is an all purpose exit point through which they relieve themselves and also lay eggs.
Both reptiles and birds have developed a different process than mammals (like us) for dealing with waste ammonia. Instead of converting the ammonia to urine, they mostly convert it to uric acid which is excreted as a white paste or sometimes a dry, white powder.
So, chickens (in fact all birds and reptiles) technically neither defecate nor urinate. Their system mixes all liquid and solid waste together for excretion down one pipe. The excretion is more similar to urine than feces.
