Yes, chipmunks do eat acorns. Acorns are a common food source for chipmunks, along with nuts, seeds, fruits, and insects. Chipmunks collect and store acorns in their cheek pouches to bring back to their burrows for consumption.
Chipmunks can fall off dams if they lose their balance while navigating the narrow edges. Their small size and quick movements can sometimes lead to accidents, causing them to slip and fall. Additionally, chipmunks might be chasing each other or searching for food, which can increase the likelihood of a fall.

There are various answers... I like mine raw, so I cut off a half-inch slice or two, and rip the corn off with my front teeth, one bite per row of corn. stick knives in the edges and bite trough the corn until u cant see 1 To eat corn on the cob, husk off the hairs and and boil the ears in water. Salt the corn with a little salt then butter it using a stick of butter and grab the ends of the corn. Eat off the little bits of cob and enjoy!! voila you have corn

I picked corn a couple of days ago and one of my lower forearms is broke out in a rash. I sure hope it is corn rash. I am beginning to think it spread to my neck also. Itchy and blistered. Only showing up on my arm that was pulling the corn off the stalk. Very itchy.
may be you get a replacment stalk?
I believe a river otter ate my corn because had it been a raccoon it would've taken the whole cob but no, it just ate the kernals right off the plant.
