Yes, it's not uncommon for a female rabbit to hump a male, or even another female. This behaviour is part of establishing dominance and sometimes the female is the top rabbit. Once the rabbits become accustomed to each other, this behaviour should eventually stop.

Are rabbits best in pares?

Yes rabbits are best in pairs like my rabbits, i had one to start with and she was really lonely so we bought another one and they are both really happy together, if you do get two rabbits, only get one boy and one girl because if you get two girls they fight and its the same with boys.

Which are best girl or boy rabbits?

Girl rabbits are normally calmer. This website is good for rabbit help: http://www.piczo.com/rabbitcareguide?cr=5 girl rabbits are more loyal and less jiggy but boy rabbits are better for kids because they are more entertaining and more curious it is hard to find a boy rabbit doing nothing

You have 2 pet rabbits and they are supposed to be both girl but the larger one of the two keeps trying to mount it could it be possible that it is a boy?

i have 2 pet rabbits and they are supposed to be both girls but the larger one of the two keeps trying to mount the smaller one could it be possible that it is a boy i have the exact same problem. at first i thought it was boredom, so i built a run in the garden but they still kept doing it. Now, the rabbit which we think is female seems to be leaving blood wherever she goes to the toilet. Do you think she is pregnant?
