Horses don't have toenails, they have hooves.
And yes, usually they need to be trimmed regularly.
Many horses are shod, and will need new shoes something like every 6 weeks.
Even an unshod horse will need its hooves trimmed, unless it somehow manages to get enough natural wear from moving around in its paddock to keep the hooves at a suitable length, which would be quite rare.
Hooves (not toenails) require trimming every four to eight weeks. This should be done by a competent farrier that can correctly balance the horses hooves based on it's conformation. Shod horses typically need their shoes pulled and hooves trimmed every 4 to 6 weeks, with shoe resets every six to eight weeks.
NOOO, if your guinea Pigs toenails are bleeding when you cut them DON'T cut it as short as you are at the moment. You should not clip the pinkish part of the nail. OR you can take a nail filer for human nails and just scratch off a bit of nail with it.
i use a toenail clipper.....but some people use mini chainsaws and line them up with toenail and go.....but i wouldn't recommend a chainsaw
Camels do not have hooves. They have a two-toed foot with toenails and a soft footpad.
DO NOT Cut off the forelock (like my neightbor did)
Call a veterinarian and give him a complete description of the age and of the injury and follow his advice. Follow normal first aid procedures such as cleaning and disinfecting the wound. Keep it covered if possible and if the cut does not need stitches it will need cleaning and an antibiotic salve applied at least daily.
get your parents to cut your toenails for you, if you are bad at cutting them.
they dont
Don't cut them, paint them or peel them
No. Toenails, like hair, are dead tissue.
yes they do but they are not like our's they are blue ;)
Once a week is recommended
Hamsters Toenails are not very easy to cut but you may be able to bring them to a pet store and they should be able to help.
I gets uglier and bigger unless you cut them.
get your parents to cut your toenails for you, if you are bad at cutting them.
Your toenails will grow so long. They will curl back and kill you. This happened to a recent freind of mine. Who was 7. This is true
No, nurses are not allowed to cut or clip a patient's toenails. They are however allowed to file them down. Typically a podiatrist will cut them, or a nurse who specializes and is certified in foot care is allowed too.
Cut all the toenails by clicking them. (You have to be fast!).
