∙ 11y agoInsects, per se, do not have 'fingers' as we humans would consider them. They do have unique projections we might think of as 'feet' at the base of their many legs that help them with balance and mobility but they are neither 'fingers' nor 'toes'. In the case of insects like bees, their 'feet' and legs (which are only jointed and do not have a patella...therefore bees cannot have 'knees' discounting the old saying 'the bees knees') are covered with thousands of tiny hairs used to collect and transport pollen from plant to plant.

∙ 10y agoMany species of animals do not have fingers or even toes. Very few animal species have fingers. Horses have hooves, but no fingers. Worms have no appendages, nor do snakes. Snails have feet (or a sort) but no toes. Birds have toes, but no fingers. Fish have no fingers. Insects have no fingers.
