No. Many mistake cartilage for being soft and squishy. Although this is fairly true, cartilage is quite firm and more pliable than squishy. Think of your ears and the tip of your nose. That's cartilage. The stuff that makes the bottom of your toes soft is just fat to pad your toes from getting hurt.
