Rabbits are naturally awake during dawn as dusk, as that's when their predators are less likely to be hunting. If predators aren't a huge concern, rabbits also like to eat and play at night when there are less people around. Rabbits can see in the dark much better than humans can, so the dark's not much of a problem for them.

∙ 12y agoSome guinea pigs have red eyes (freaky!!) that means that they can see in the dark. If an animal has solid colored eyes (unlike you and me!) then that means that they can see in the dark. Message me if you have any other guinea pig questions!!

∙ 14y agoWell, guinea pigs have terrible sight in general. They are not nocturnal, so that means they go to sleep at night, like you.

Not nessicarily-- rabbits are nocturnal. I have one myself. I certainly don't think it can see in the dark. Owls, though are nocturnal and can see in the dark. However, rabbits cannot.

So in answer to your question, no rabbits are not scared of the dark. :)
