Rabbits are naturally awake during dawn as dusk, as that's when their predators are less likely to be hunting. If predators aren't a huge concern, rabbits also like to eat and play at night when there are less people around. Rabbits can see in the dark much better than humans can, so the dark's not much of a problem for them.

I have had many rabbits, I have to say my lovely little Fluffy who we have at the moment is the nicest of all!! And because we love them so much, of course we fret over them. You will be thrilled to know rabbits are noctornal and actually like the dark most of all!! :) They are also most active at night, even though they are in their hutch at night, you may hear them scratching the cage and come out in the morning to see Fluffy has shredded ALL the new newspaper in his hutch again!! So in answer to your question, no rabbits are not scared of the dark. :)
