There have been reports of a shark found in the Salt River in Arizona. I am not sure if these claims are true it is being investigated. I think the article said some men claim to have caught it while fishing in the river but now they are thinking it was a hoax.
yes sharks such as the woebegone and bull can live in rivers and lakes most of the sharks that live in rivers and lakes still stay close to the ocean for if it gets to cold these sharks are called fresh water sharks the woebegone like rivers because the bottom of the river is there skin tone the bull likes rivers because it mostly has more fish coming in and out of the ocean and that's your answer
They could but don't. Sharks live in salt water and frogs don't. Frogs live in jungles and marches, not exactly shark territory.
Bull sharks and River sharks are the only true sharks that live in fresh water, although there are several other species of fish that sometimes have "shark" in their informal names.on the lighter side...only wimpy sharks
Yes. The Bullshark can live in fresh and salt water
Sharks are filter feeders and sieve tiny bits of plankton and small animals from the water through the gills as they swim with wide-open mouths. They do not drink water. The blood and tissues of sharks are salty containing high levels of urea, and other salts. Sharks basically are saltier than the sea. Sharks absorb pure water from the sea by Osmosis (through their gills). It's a process where water flows across a semi permeable membrane from an area of higher concentration of water to an area of lower concentration to equalize concentration levels. Sharks can secrete extra salts through their rectal gland. Most sharks can't live in fresh water with the exception of bull sharks which can lower their salt level to enter into fresh water.
river sharks ;p i think
There is the Bull Shark also known as the Zambezi Shark, these sharks can live in both fresh and salt water
The Colorado River. The Gila River. The Salt River.

No. The Bull Sharks are known to swim up the Ganges River and hence sometimes they are confused with the Ganges River Shark. The Ganges Shark is a fresh water shark that is indigeneous to the Ganges river of India. They are a critically endangered species. Whereas, the Bull sharks can live in both salt and fresh water.
No. Alligators live in fresh water, sharks live in salt water.
Phoenix.
if you mean "Do sharks live in the ocean?" Then yes sharks live in the ocean they can only survive in salt water
Salt water...Ocean...
because they do and you don't
"Tiger sharks of course live in salt water because all the seas have salt water in them all sharks live in the salt water so there you have it."-------actually no, bull sharks can live up to four years in freshwater I'm not so sure about the tiger shark though, do some research Google it and you'll get your answer, but don't worry most shark attacks happen in oceans but some sharks do swim up from the Mississippi river and go into some rivers and lakes.yes they do
No. Although Bull Sharks can survive in fresh water, the Yellowstone River is too far away from salt water for the Bull Shark to get to the Yellowstone River.
