No silkie sleep on a perch or any kind of bar that's to high because they are to little and they can really jump from high places because they are very delicate and can brake some thing very easy
Most Silkie hens and roosters are identical and sometimes the rooster Silkie doesn't crow through out his whole life. The only way you can tell them apart if the Silkie is mating with hens and has a spur then of course it is a rooster. And if a Silkie laid eggs or is sitting on eggs then she is a hen. Another way to tell them apart is if you have a hybrid Silkie that Silkie might get a big wattle and comb.
A "cormorant" is a type of diving seabird. When birds get ready to sleep for the night they usually find a place to perch. This is called a "roost" and the act of going to this perch is called "roosting". So the sentence "The cormorants roosted on a tall rock" means that the Cormorant seabirds went to a tall rock to sleep for the night.
There are three species of the perch: Percaflavescens (Yellow perch), Perca fluviatilis(European perch) and Perca schrenkii (Balkhash perch).

they like to sleep on a perch
They sleep on a perch or in a tree cavity. My macaw has a bird hut (tent) that he sleeps in every night.

They will perch on a branch and go into a deep sleep. Almost like hibernating.
Chooks prefer to roost up fairly high, but within easy chook- jumping height. They will happily perch on a platform, or even just a horizontal stick.
no one knows. But i sure hope there will be! i love the chop socky chooks!

They find a safe spot to perch, wrap their little claws tightly around it, and close their eyes. Birds are light sleepers.

If your talking about a perch where they sleep they like to sleep in high places so if it's off the ground andsomewhat high then they should go up on there own. If you're talking about an egg laying perch then you have to make it somewhat small and enclosed except for a place to get in and out of. If they don't know to lay in it then you should put golf balls in it so they realise that its a good place to lay.
