Snakes don't walk. They slither. On their bellies, where they slither on, their is an special oil that makes it easier. But sea snakes also wriggle their bodies in water to swim. Land snakes can go in a straight line, or side wind, wriggling like a s. Sidewinders do that in the sandy deserts they liv in.
