I have heard many a rumour and old wives tales about this. I have heard that chestnuts are supposed to be fiery and hot headed however my best friend had the most gentle giant of a chestnut and he one of the most beautiful horses i have ever met. Blacks are supposedly mean spirited however i have never found a horse thast proves this. many greys i have mat have been very cheeky, however they are mostly little welsh ponies and this breed is known for its cheekiness so it is probably more breeding than colour. So no i dont think colour has a lot to do with temperament.
i agree. i have a chestnut and he is the sweetest thing and great for little kids. he never bit, kicked, or buck and he is 28 years old
horses. Everything about them...breeds, feed, pastures, bones, anything and everything about horses.
If it is a brand on a horses hindquarters it probably stands for a name like, "Sarah Indego" or something like that. It could mean anything. It may be a breed specific code, or a "color code". It could refer to the sacroiliac area of the horse, or a stifle injury...
It called be a strawberry-rome horse or maybe even a chestnut
Palomino's are just a color, so it would depend on the actual breeding, but horses usually live to be 30 years (max' give or take)
Pinto is a color not a breed of horses. There is a Pinto Horse Association which can include any breed. The American Paint Horse Association includes only horses with Quarter Horse, Paint Horse, or Thoroughbred bloodlines. So a 'Pinto' is a white and any other color in 'patches' of any breed, while a 'Paint' is white and any other color in 'patches' of the Quarter Horse, Paint or Thoroughbred breeds.
Yes, Morgan Horses do have a temper. They have a temper, if you are in a bad mood, or if they want something and don't get it.
the color, breed anything physical
The same thing as any other horse! Palmino is just a color!
Chestnut is a color and doesn't mean anything really in regards to what a horse does or doesn't do. A chestnut colored horse can do anything a horse of any other color can do.
Try using bleach and let it sit for a while (1-3) hours. If it is anything like dried temper paint it comes out.
red he had a temper 2
One thing, your temper. Horses do NOT like yelling.
Yes, although it always depends on the temper, and such, of the animals. So not all llamas will graze with horses and vice versa.
Because it is the company's logo the color is to match the shirt's color! There is a difference between brown horses and blue horses, but I do not know why.
The color of a horses eyes has no bearing on anything really.Blue eyes are caused by specific genetics.
Depends on their personality if they are nice and calm they should be ok but if they always throw you then they can stay like that A horses tempremant can change like the weather some horses just have an off day xx
The color of the first wild horses is thought to have been dun.
