I do know that rats have an appendix because i dissected one. I'm trying to figure out what its function is, and i think it helps digest cellulose mostly in herbivores.

I think I remember vaguely that the appendix is bigger than the stomach and is used to digest things like tree nuts. And I have also recently dissected a rat!
