Female lionhead rabbits can be bred once they reach maturity, which is typically around 6-8 months of age. It is important to ensure they are in good health and at the appropriate age before breeding to prevent any complications.
No they are not. Lionhead rabbits are domestic rabbits with a mane gene. The mane gene is dominant so any rabbit that is bred to another that has a mane has a 50% chance of getting a mane. Since domestic rabbits can not mate with wild rabbits (in the US) you will not see Lionheads in the wild, unless someone dumped them there.

Pine or aspen wood shavings are generally safe for lionhead rabbits, as long as they are kiln-dried and free from additives or chemicals. Avoid cedar and other aromatic woods, as they can be harmful to a rabbit's respiratory system. It's also important to provide a soft bedding material in addition to the wood shavings for comfort.

Hare females are called doe not hare! hare is a compleatly different species! i concure.A female rabbit is a called a "doe," just like a female deer. (Sometimes a female rabbit is called a "jill," but that's not very common.)Female rabbits are "does", males are "bucks" and the babies are "kittens" (kits).
