There are no known shark attacks in lake mohave but there are fresh water crocodiles. There has been sighting of these and the park rangers take them out with 12 gauges whenever there spotted.
No.
Most sharks stay only in salt water, and lakes are fresh water.
A few swim some distance into rivers, so for a shark to ever end up in a lake, the lake has to be connected to a river that runs out into the sea, and fairly close to the coast too.
yes they arent likely to bite but they will
Massive sharks. They are very territorial sharks that will strip the flesh from your limbs.
its a lake. they can't get to it
Because the dry land they may live on now might had been a former lake or ocean
im not sure who discovered the first shark but I know the first person who was attacked was a man in New Jersey. A bunch of shark attacks were happening at the time and it ended up inspiring the movie Jaws but the attacks were actually from a bull shark in a lake/river. Sorry i couldn't answer your Q. xoxo

A beaver shark just doesn't exist. I help work at this lake where we let kids ride this inflatable banana attached to a pontoon boat, we always say "Don't worry, the beaver sharks only like the color orange (Their Life-Jackets)." One day a kid came up and said " Are Beaver-Sharks real?" When I was 5 i broke my leg and have a scar that will last forever. So I showed him and he said "I knew it!"
No. Lake Toba is a freshwater lake.
There have been no reports of shark sitings in Lake Ontario, even the bull shark hasn't been there. I wouldn't worry too much though as sharks tend to like warm water and Lake Ontario seems a little to far north for that to be an issue.
yes i beleive there has been activity of sharks in rend lake
sure. there are sharks in greenwood lake. Huge maneaters.
yes.
There are not any records of Detroit Free Press publishing an article about a shark that had been caught in Lake St. Clair. Sturgeons live in the lake and are often confused for sharks.
well it can die if its a salt water shark in a fresh water lake, but if its a fresh water shark and its in a fresh water lake it will live.
the bull shark
It seems that we could ask George Lawson, or any of his relatives, who would certainly know whether or not he was bitten by a shark. 1955 wasn't that long ago!
Good question there was never a bull shark in the delawere river plus a shark can go from an ocean to a lake or a river but there might of been one but the people should not have went swimmming there that there was a shark in the river but good question! :)
It all depends how big is the lake.
shark valley is called shark valley because it is a valley that flows into shark lake
Yes. A number of the shark attacks in the Jersey shore shark attacks in 1916 were in rivers. Those attacks were used as the basis for Peter Benchley'sbook and the movie Jaws.(see related link)
