Ants can help each other by working together, helping the struggling ones, and many other ways too. They help each other in many ways, but usually they die in about 6/7 months, when after the queen would already be borning new babies.

Ants do a lot for us and the environment in general. A single large colonel of ants will pick up and or kill 100,000 other insects a day for food. So they're the pest control themselves of the insect kingdom. Many species of ants have a mutual relationship with plants that the ants may benefit from in some way. The ants offer the utmost protection against animals, insects, or parasites that might harm the plants. They're the great farmer's of the wilderness. Ants also rival the notorious termites and definitely takes the termite population down a notch. They are not the pests that people try to make them out to be. Just clean up the food in your house so the ants don't end up doing their job inside your home.

Ants help humans by cleaning up things that are left behind, such as food and dead bugs and animals. This also helps the soil, so that more plants can be planted and grow.
