The black-footed cat is one of the smallest cat species. It is about the same size of a rusty spotted cat. Adult males can way an average of 2.9 pounds. Adult females way about the same. Males can reach a body length of 14.4 to 17.0 inches long from head to end of body with a 6.5 to 7.8 inch tail. The shoulder height is about 9.8 inches. 2. Holding the cat, weigh yourself and the cat.
3. Drop the black cat.
4. Stand on the scale again.
5. Do the math.
