It's generally accepted that the fastest speed a crocodile can run is 25 - 30MPH for short distances, and usually only the bigger crocodilians can achieve these speeds (it's roughly the speed of a stallion). Bearing this in mind, I should think that Gustave (who is estimated to be around 21FT) could run at this speed for very short distances. Hope this helped :)
