There are 2 main types of Golden Doodles. A Miniature Golden Doodle and a Standard Golden Doodle. A Miniature Golden Doodle is half Golden Retriever and half Miniature Poodle. A Standard Golden Doodle is half Golden Retriever and half Standard Poodle. A Miniature Golden Doodle will be 25-45 pounds generally. A Standard Golden Doodle will be 45-90 pounds generally. My dog is a Miniature Golden Doodle and her name is Mollie and she is sooooo cute!!!!! She is 45 pounds. And she is about 24 inches tall at her waist. Hope this helped!

Petite Goldendoodles were first bred, and named by, TIMSHELL FARM, Steve and Linda Rogers. Other breeders were raising Miniature Goldendoodles, crossing a purebred Golden Retriever with a Miniature Poodle, by way of artificial insemination or surgical insemination. This produces puppies of unpredictable size. Some may be 55 lbs. when grown and some puppies in the same litter might be 20 lbs. when grown. In order to raise Goldendoodle puppies that will be predictably smaller when grown, we first "downsize" the breeding female. Our mothers are Comfort Goldens (Golden Retriever X Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). This Comfort Golden is a smaller version of the Golden Retriever, with large eyes, longer ears and silky curls! The Comfort Golden mother is then bred naturally with a Miniature Poodle. The puppies are PETITE GOLDENDOODLES and will be between 25 and 35 pounds when grown.
