ACT RESPONSABLE!!!!!! do things without needing to be told, dont smart talk or talk back, etc. Find a chore that you can do that will help out your household and do it with out being asked each day. This will show your dad that you are capable of caring for a dog on a daily basis. Most parents fear getting a dog for their child because they worry that they will end up doing all of the work associated with owning a dog.
