How can you tell the age of a guinea pig?

If there old they may become slower and lose hair on their head but if there young like 2 and stuff you may not be able to tell! I have a 2 year old piggy and he looks like hes 6 months old o:

Im afriad there isn't rli any way you can tell! Only by what the breeder/seller tells you =)

You take it to the vet and they can give you a professional guess...and sometimes you can tell by there toenails...like if there toenails are thicker that mean they are adults and not babies.

By keeping track of age when they are born then you would know how old they are.

These animals can breed at a young age. That does not mean that they should. You should wait until the animal is a least 6 months old. This makes sure that the animal is ready for the litter.
