Mice are too small for you to tell their gender when they are only two weeks old. When they get a little older, you can look under their tails for signs. Males will have two distinct openings, with a bit of space between them. Females have what looks more like one long opening, but is actually two openings that are very close together.

Look underneath it. It should be easy to tell.
can u tell that a babyis a dwarf when it is bron can u tell that a babyis a dwarf when it is bron
No. The size and shape of an egg does not determine the gender of the potential chick inside the egg. There is absolutely no way to determine gender until the embryo is fully formed and hatched.
Well i think it is the color of the red you know like the girls have orange and the boys have red
If you know your rodents, you should be able to tell the gender of baby rodents at birth (I can).
Baby mice can be separated once they can see and hear and have fur as long as you can tell the difference between a boy and a girl. Because mice can have babies when they are 4 weeks old!
Usually not. With most mice, people w/ no mouuse expireince can tell if its a boy or girl. Boys have big butts and you can usually tell gender a couple weeks after birth.
The earliest time that the physician could tell the gender of the baby is at least 12 weeks. At 12 weeks the genital tubercule must have started developing already.
The space between the genitals
if they're breathing
Only if you have a sonogram. (Or genetic testing)
well it all depends on the baby. sometimes you can sometimes you can't. ussually you could but not see it through the scan because it would be soo small. just wait until your 16-20 weeks and you will find out! good luck
after you ask or any time
it may be possible to tell the baby's gender at the 20 week ultrasound but then it just depends what position the baby is lying in.
Yes, they say it is best to wait until 20 weeks...but I have had my doctor tell me at 15 weeks Don't forget that such results are sometimes proved to be wrong, especially if taken at such an early stage.
Most doctors will attempt to find out the gender of the baby after 16 weeks, but many do not like to try until the 20 week ultrasound because of the increased risk of being incorrect or not being able to tell yet.
