A pig is an animal that is normally seen as food by other animals so at the slightest hint of danger they run. I had a potbelly and had to learn how to catch him. You need a fairly large piece of wood that you can stand behind and you walk toward the pig slowly ( don't run). The pig doesn't sense this as danger and will stay calm. You walk the pig into a pen, enclosure or corner. This works I have done it.
