How do alligators and crocodiles get along?

For the most part, crocodiles live and let live so long as one male has several females within his territory. This changes during the breeding and hatching season - males become extremely territorial regarding their stretch of the river or swamp against other males and females will defend their nests from all other crocodiles.

If they cross paths, they might have a little showdown to establish who's the boss of the swamp. But at the end of the day, they just do their own thing and try not to step on each other's tails.
