For the most part, crocodiles live and let live so long as one male has several females within his territory. This changes during the breeding and hatching season - males become extremely territorial regarding their stretch of the river or swamp against other males and females will defend their nests from all other crocodiles.

The can live in groups but usually just one male, they are very aggressive towards all other animal except maybe hippos?
