Best Answer

The simple answer is 'not very well'.

Living things become endangered because:

* Loss of habitat. The Pronghorn has seen all of its prairie environment changed into farm land. It survives only in the Grassland's National Park. The Passenger Pigeon became extinct because of the loss of buffalo chips.

* Over-hunting. Whales, Bison, Salmon. * Alien competition. The Introduction of the European starling has forced many American song-birds to the brink.
