I would be prepared to bet few people have weighted there fish. However to give you a guideline the tetra has a swim bladder, meaning it can adjust its density to match the density of water and stay suspended, so 1cm^3 of fish is equal to 1gram. Personally I don't own any x-ray tetras but my tetras are about 3cm long, 0.5cm wide, 0.5cm tall and I'll not include the talk half a centimetre as this is very thin. 2.5 * 0.5 * 0.5 = 0.625cm^3 and hence just over half a gram, but make your own Measurments =)
Most aren't, though some do adjust to and like organic foods.

Cats pupils adjust just a little slower than humans pupils.Actually the answer above is not correct at all. Cats eyes adjust almost faster than humans. The reason being, because they are going to fight or are scared/frightened there pupils grow on will. If the room is too bright they pupils will grow to very thin slits. When nothing is wrong with the cats there pupils are normal, like a perfectly smooth rhombus.
Your rooster will adjust just fine, and may even be somewhat happy. Any offspring he may sire might be smaller than had the sire been a full size rooster. He will probably rule the roost as Banty's can be quite ruling.
The swim time course of the swim bladder response raises a problem. If a fish can not instantly adjust its swim bladder volume its buoyancy is unstable. As the fish rises in the water the pressure of the swim bladder decreases!
