You can usually tell if your hamster has produced a bulge. IF you think your hamster has only been pregnant a few days, you may notice her acting differently like collecting up alot of bedding or food. Hamsters have a gestation period of approximately 16 days.
It is not recommended to breed different species of hamsters, as this can lead to health issues and genetic problems in the offspring. Teddy bear hamsters and black bear hamsters are different species with different genetic backgrounds, so it is best to avoid breeding them together.
Signs of a pregnant teddy bear hamster may include weight gain, increased appetite, nest-building behavior, and visible nipples. Teddy bear hamsters are pregnant for approximately 16-18 days before giving birth to a litter of pups.
