An ox (plural oxen) is a bovine trained as a draft animal. It is a usually castrated bull and therefore cannot reproduce (but depends on the locality, they may be intact bulls or even cows).

An intact bull procreates with a cow just as any other mammal might.

How a goat reproduces or gives birth:

The female goat gets mated with by a buck when she is in heat. If she sees a buck that is older, bigger and more attractive than the other buck that is trying to mate with her, she won't let him near her. A buck in the paddock will eventually mate with her. The gestation period for a goat is 150 - 155 days. A couple of days before giving birth, the doe/nanny will spend time in a place away from the herd. On the day of giving birth, the doe/nanny will become restless and may roll around. Finally, she will lie there and give birth to a single, twins or triplets. Goats are more likely to have twins or triplets unlike cows and horses. The goat may be a good or not so good mother, depending on the breed. If she is not a very good mother, care must be taken because her kid/s may be prone to be taken by foxes or crows etc. If the mother is carrying more than 1 kid and is malnourished, sick or has lack of nutrition, she may die of pregnancy toxaemia. Goats in kid should be well looked after and should not be stressed. Goats under 2 year4s old that are pregnant are most likely to give birth to a premature kid.
