or maybe a whale carried it away but it can not carry 46,000 tons.
So maybe the waves carried it away or when the other half fill on
bottom of the ocen the other half crushed it and it is on the bottom of the other one but we do not know.
Stingrays use the sand as camouflage waiting for a fish to swim by and then they eat it
Rays and skates have flattened bodies that allow them to glide along the ocean bottom near coasts, where most of them live. They eat small fish and mollusks such as clams and oysters. The largest of the rays, the manta ray, lives in the upper waters of the open ocean. Many species of rays have poisonous stingers in their tails. They use the stingers for defense. These rays can be found in fresh water as well as salt water.~By Unknown Biologist
they don't eat it because they can't get to it...but....they do eat shellfish!
Stingrays primarily hunt by using their electroreceptors to detect the electrical signals emitted by their prey. They use their pectoral fins to create a suction force that helps them uncover buried prey in the sand. Once the stingray has detected its prey, it will use its powerful jaws to crush and consume it.
No, most reptiles cannot breathe under sand as it would block their airways and prevent them from getting oxygen. Reptiles typically require access to air for breathing and would not be able to survive for extended periods under sand.
half up.................
It is safer to lay them buried in the sand, and turtles breathe air and do not have gills to survive for that long in the water, either.
Sand dollars breathe through a process known as diffusion, using their tube feet.
Its on the sand as if in the sand that means one has buried it self in sand
They do not sleep underwater but when resting, it lies at the bottom, buried in sand or mud, lifting its head to breathe or snatch at prey.
