Sharks excrete waste out of the same hole as their urinary and reproductive tracts. This is called the cloaca. The cloaca is located at the rear underside of the shark between the pelvic fins where the it's tail starts. Unlike what most people would expect poop to look like, a shark's poop is actually a soupy liquid anywhere from a brown to greenish brown color. Shark poop disintergrates quick in water. With a quick swish of its tail the pelvic fins flare out and the shark returns its fully digested prey to the sea! It looks like a big cloud in the water.
