It's actually quite rare for sharks to really eat humans. They tend to take a bite, realize we're not their favourite food and spit us out. Maybe minus an arm or a leg. And always with some nasty wounds.

Sharks can bite, but they can't really chew. If a shark would decide to eat a human it'd bite, shake its head to tear off a chunk that'd fit down its throat, swallow, and repeat.
