There are many many different options to choose from, and it all is based on what materials you have on hand. A lot of salt and mineral boxes can be made from old tires, rain barrels, old tire rims, scrap metal or wood, the list is endless. The most important things to remember are that you need to have a big-enough hole in the box for a cow or bull to be able to stick their head into to get at the salt, it needs to be high enough off the ground so that it keeps any moisture from getting in, but not too high that the cattle cannot reach it with much effort. You need to have a roof of some sort that will keep the mineral dry and shed rain, and the box built solidly enough so that it can withstand a lot of abuse from cows jockeying to be the first ones to get at the mineral mix.
As far as what to build and how to build it, please check out the related links below to look at the various options available to build a salt mineral box for your cattle.

There are several types of mouth gags for cattle. These are used by vets to administer medicines and other things. The mouth gag will have instructions printed on the box, make sure to follow them step by step.
Unlike chickens, ducks do not prefer to lay their eggs in a nest box. In fact, in my experience, Pekin ducks will lay their eggs wherever they happen to be sitting at the time - some will even lay an egg while swimming in the water. If you truly feel the need to provide your Pekin duck with a nest box, a simple, three-sided plywood box should suffice.
The condition in the cattle car can be comparable to an animal being trapped in a black plastic box with 1 or 2 small windows in the middle of summer. The air circulation is bad within the car which causes heat strokes/dehydration for the Jews in a long trip. Only a few who are next to windows are considered lucky.
Over the past 40 or so years, the dairy cattle population has made its biggest achievement since the People's Republic of China was established. In 1949, there were only about 100 000 head of dairy cattle; by 1991, this number had increased to 2.945 million. This question makes no sense. Box cars and cattle cars were around long before world war 2. The Jews were taken in them to the concentration camps.
