as they are so small you have an advantage, use the bath or bathroom sink make sure the water isn't to warm because you don't want to stress it, just a tad cooler than we would have it, and you need special dog shampoo witch you can get from your local pet store you haven't do a local pet store try using baby shampoo its his first time do it very slowly and praising him. if he gets in distress i would advise going to a pet parlor.
