Ventilate area of leak or spill. Remove all sources of ignition. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment as specified in Section 8. Isolate hazard area. Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel from entering. Contain and recover liquid when possible. Use non-sparking tools and equipment. Collect liquid in an appropriate container or absorb with an inert material (e. g., vermiculite, dry sand, earth), and place in a chemical waste container. Do not use combustible materials, such as saw dust. Do not flush to sewer! US Regulations (CERCLA) require reporting spills and releases to soil, water and air in excess of reportable quantities. The toll free number for the US Coast Guard National Response Center is (800) 424-8802. If a leak or spill has not ignited, use water spray to disperse the vapors, to protect personnel attempting to stop leak, and to flush spills away from exposures.
No it is absolutely not safe for your cat to go into the garage with pellitized lime on the floor. Quickly wet a rag and wash your cats paws because cats are great groomers and will lick their paws and groom themselves. Clean up the lime immediately! If you spill liquids that could be dangerous to pets then use clumping kitty litter to soak it up and clean off the rest with Dawn dish soap which has a degreaser in it.
Formaldehyde was a common liquid. I dont know if it still is.
Water and a sponge would not be effective in cleaning up a grease spill because grease is not soluble in water, so water alone will not be able to break down the grease. Additionally, a sponge would not be able to absorb the grease because it is not designed to absorb oil-based substances. Instead, a degreasing cleaner or absorbent material such as baking soda or cat litter would be more effective in cleaning up a grease spill.
They get a slight clean up. if you clean an egg you reduce its shelf life because it has a protective layer that keeps it sealed.

It has to be Bounty. One sheet will serve as the best spill clean up device you'll ever have! It has to be Brawny. They make the thickest sheets for spill clean up. I'd probably use another brand just as a napkin or something like that, but for spill clean up, go with Brawny.
jo

Cat litter is good to soak up the spill after it first happens. It will usually get all of it up.
