Treats treats treats lol Is she/he really shy or standoff-ish? If you put up a little more detail i can probably give you a better answer. Basically a few common things are: 1. Almost every dog will love plain cooked chicken, feed it small bites=puppy will love you :) 2. If the puppy is skittish, stand off-ish, scared, or cowers alot etc. you want to do a few things including avoid loud noises and quick movements,NEVER yell, talk in a calm soothing voice. I would suggest not grabbing the puppy and holding it right away, try using chicken or some other tasty treat to coax and get it to trust you first. Also you may want to contact the breeder or person you got the puppy from and inquire about it's background (any reason why it is acting this way?) (if the problem persists you may want to have it checked out by you vet, the problem could be medical) 3. If you have other dogs, try putting them outside, or in another room so you can spend some 1 on 1 time letting the puppy get to know you. 4. You are probably trying to potty train right now also? If you are, and the puppy is very scared and hand shy COMPLETLEY avoid any punishment for accidents, don't talk angrily at her, smack her bottom with rolled up newspaper, or even rub her nose in it. That will just get her more scared. Instead praise her and give her treats when she goes outside. Hopefully this helps :)
Yes, a 6-week-old puppy can have cooked eggs as part of their diet. However, make sure the eggs are fully cooked and do not contain any seasonings or additives that may be harmful to the puppy. It is always best to consult with a veterinarian before introducing new foods to your puppy's diet.
It is generally recommended to wait until a puppy is at least 8 weeks old before giving them a bath, as their immune systems are still developing. However, if a puppy gets very dirty, you can use a damp washcloth to clean them in specific areas. Be sure to keep the puppy warm and dry after the bath to prevent chilling.
A two-week-old puppy is very little still and may still need formula if not nursing from his or her mother. Check with your vet to see what the best approach to feeding the puppy is. Puppies are normally weaned from their mothers around 6-8 weeks, and after then any high-quality puppy chow is fine--follow the feeding guidelines on the packaging for quantity.
You should not buy a 6 weeks old puppy cause the puppy is too young to leave its mother !!! If you want to have less problem at potty train it, then you should buy it at about 11 or more weeks old!But not too old!!! You should not buy a dog more than 20 weeks old ^.^ Because when it's young, like 6 years old, its mom can teach it a few things!!! So I'm about to buy a 16 weeks old puppy, that is the perfect old for a puppy.!!! So please, e patient!!! ^.^ >.<
