This worked for me you should try it By placing an old style wind up alarm clock next to the puppy when it lays down to sleep. The ticking noise of the alarm clock simulates the mother's heart beat and puts the puppy more at ease to go to sleep.
Puppies usually go to the woman of the house (like children) so I would put my bathrobe in the kennel with the pup and face the kennel towards my bed so the pup could see me and hear me breathe. They love the sight of you! Also the alarm clock is a good idea.
